Coconut Oil:
Simple and effective coconut oil can effectively remove makeup from the skin. Just apply a dab of coconut oil and watch the makeup be removed. Coconut oil is an excellent moisturizer for the face and body containing both essential fatty acids and antimicrobial properties.
Steam:
Again super simple. Steam can help unclog your pores and remove dirt from the skin. Simply fill a bowl with hot steaming water and lean over for a few minutes. Be careful, and don’t use boiling water.
Cucumber Juice:
A lot if not most makeup removers use cucumber to help remove makeup. You can mix your own remove by using a blender to mix cucumber with oil, olive oil is fine. The mixture will remove makeup and naturally soothe the skin.
Milk:
Milk, not the makeup brand but actually milk. Milk is good for heath and is packed with calcium and B vitamins. Queens have been said to bathe in milk and this is why. Milk can help hydrate and retain moisture in the skin. You can mix milk with a tablespoon of olive oil, apply it to your face and wipe clean with a cloth.
Baking Soda and Honey
Honey and baking soda can work wonders as a natural exfoliator and cleanser. Apply a little honey on a cloth and sprinkle a small amount of baking soda, rube gently and remove the makeup from the skin.
Witch Hazel
Similar to coconut oil which hazel is also another natural oil based alternative. You can use a light mix of witch hazel and a nourishing oil, olive can work for the oil. To prevent skin from drying out try to source an alcohol-free witch hazel oil.
Makeup Remover Balm Mix
Create your own natural makeup remover balm mix by combining olive oil or jojoba oil and beeswax. Combine ¼ cup of oil and 1 tablespoon of beeswax. Melt the beeswax into the oil, then pour into a container to set.
