Our skin is hugely important to our appearance and is constantly weathering either the elements or makeup products on a daily basis. This is the reason it is important to ensure your face is properly cleansed. Reusable face pads are a great product to help cleanse your face and also ensure that you are not becoming wasteful by using multiple single use wipes each day.
If you wear heavy makeup or regularly cleanse your face with skincare products reusable face pads are a great addition to your routine and are simple to use.
How to use a reusable face pads
CHOOSE A PAD
Take on pad and check the pad is clean and ready to use
APPLY CLEANSER
Apply a small amount of warm water or face cleanser to the pad. Usually 5 – 10 drops is suitable however, you can as much or as little as you are comfortable with. For removing heavy makeup you will require more cleanser than with light or no makeup.
APPLY IN CIRCULAR MOTIONS
Once the pad has soaked in your cleansing agent, apply softly and gently to the skin in circular motions. The face pad will begin to remove the makeup from the face and begin cleaning.
REMOVE ALL MAKEUP
Continue to remove makeup until the face is fully clean and rid of any makeup.
REPEAT
Once the makeup is fully removed take a second makeup pad or use the rear of the current makeup pad, apply a little more cleanser and lightly wipe the skin.
LET DRY
Leave the skin to naturally dry or wash your face with warm water and dry with a soft towel.
WASH PREP
Place the reusable pad into a wash bag and ready to wash when all of your face pads require cleaning.
MACHINE WASH
If using a washing machine, reusable face pads should be done on a 60 wash with all the pads securely placed within a laundry bag.
HAND WASH
You can achieve better results by washing by hand with either warm water or warm water a safe natural cleaning agent.
